  Simply Sausages History
The first Simply Sausages retail shop was opened in August 1991 in Smithfield Meat Market London by Martin Heap, chef, restaurateur and Westminster College cookery lecturer.

Three more stores were quickly opened, immediately establishing Simply Sausages as London's leading sausage maker, selling products such as duck & black cherry and beef & Guinness sausages.

With the sausage market still an exciting growth area, Simply Sausages has continued to develop and produce many exciting recipes. The first menu listed had 24 varieties of sausages, but over the years this has developed to over 250 recipes.

With the demise of Smithfield as a proper meat market we decided the time is right to take our exquisite sausages to the nation. (Well it's not fair that so many people are missing out!)

We've taken some of our most delicious and popular recipes and, without compromise ventured outside London to give the nation a taste of excellence.
